Sheila Hicks retrospective show is up at the ICA in Philly. A great show, I will probably go again before it goes down. Her pieces demonstrate an almost effortless sensibility in working with fiber materials. There is something just visually satisfying about bundles of yarn neatly and artfully arranged. The citron colors of the last image puts me in a happy mood.
